What Do You Love About America?

Will E Worm

Conspiracy...
American RPGs like Mass Effect, Skyrim and Fallout are way better than Japanese RPGs and their tired formula of the angst-ridden-spikey-haired protagonist and the turn based combat with 5 min long cut scenes.

In other words, we kick ass.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
The Constitution....and what it once meant, and stood for. Freedom..........which is a far cry from democracy.

Of course, all of the young, hot chicks doesn't hurt either.

Baked beans. America has way better baked beans than Australia, I'm going to miss them when I move back. I would also say BBQ, because somehow Oz never got the memo on that either, but I've learned how to make my own pretty good BBQ so I'll be ok.

Barack Obama is great, I can't talk bad about him and the EUA under your command. Vote in republican or I stay silent

The fuck? Okay, I'll vote republican if it stops you from posting.

I love how a country can be at the same time so pioneering and forward thinking, yet at the same time have so many deep seated and old fashioned beliefs that seem immune to change, and how those who uphold these beliefs get so angry when you dare to question them.

"The rule of law.
Rugged individualism
Risk takers
American ingenuity
MF freedom! (for now)"

Rule of law- Applies to those with money to pay for attorneys. Otherwise its stacked against you, especially the federal system. If you're black the rule of law is VERY different than the rule of law if you're wealthy and white.

Rugged Individualism- Not sure what that even fucking means???

Risk Takers- Who? The government?

American Ingenuity- A thing of the past. Not much coming from here anymore than breaks real ground. We outsource our industry and bring in outside people from Asia to do our technical work.

Freedom0 Ever try to build a shed in your backyard? We don't have freedom in the true sense of it. Our choices are paper or plastic but the real choices are being made for us by corporations that buy legislation and the wealthiest people who control ALL of the money.

America is a beautiful country. I love the oceans and the Gulf of Mexico. I love the mountains too. I love the fact that America is on the verge of turning a big corner to leave the cranky old outdated people behind and move forward with progressive ideas for the people and hopefully someday the government.

America has tenacity and there is a lot of good here. But if we don't get a grip on our social and economic issues we'll be a very sad place in 10 years.

Milano spilling her leftist anti American agenda on Independence Day is like the drunk driver that killed your child sending a flower arrangement to their funeral.

Why am I not surprised that you have no concept of the term "rugged individualism" or can grasp the rule of law. It simply means we are a government of laws, not men.

Stick to plagiarizing articles from The Atlantic or stealing quotes from Ted Cruz about Hispanics panhandling.

I finally just put her on ignore. Life is too short to deal with such a hateful person. And working in law enforcement and private security in Las Vegas, I have personally seen hundreds of Latino panhandlers. Helped a few out, arrested a few. Depends on the circumstance. But it's no myth.

^I like how America is bigger than America, and I mean that in the physical sense, not just philosophically. No doubt we live in the greatest Nation on Earth, our Great Freedoms are unparalleled and are still the shining example to the rest of the World. How many other countries do you hear people clawing over themselves to get to? Nope, you don't hear anyone saying how bad they wish they could move to France, or England, or China. This is still the land of the people, for the people, by the people, God Bless The USA! Happy Birthday, 'Merica!
