Anyone have info on what professions pornstars were doing before they got into the business? Also acceptable are professons they were trained for but may not have ever actually done.

Lexington Steele - stockbroker

Ron Jeremy - teacher

Nina Hartley - nurse

Tera Patrick - nurse

Ashlyn Gere - actress

Kay Parker - actress, she was "recruited" by John Leslie, who happen to be also taking one of her acting classes.

Sean Micheals - I know he studied acting, but I'm not sure if he was serious about becoming one.

Janet Jacme - real estate agent

Sylvia Saint - worked in a hotel. I remember hearing she was in management, but I now find that hard to believe considering her age.

Jeanna Fine - quite certain she was a legal secretary

Others I can add at this time:

Tom Byron - worked in an adult video store. Porn actresses used to come by to check out their videos. A couple of the ladies convinced him to give it a try.

Steve Drake - fisherman, lol! really!

Marilyn Chambers - not sure about her profession, model? but she's famous for being the woman on the boxcover for Ivory detergent
