Do you have an extra day? I do. Not being paid for it but I still do have it. Not going to sit home or go to the track. Fuck that. I have taken a beating this season. I'll post my plans later but I want to know what you do or plan for a 3 day weekemd.

other than that, i guess its hanging out at home with the woman. i do like her. i got her a new magic deck so that should kill some time. we finally picked up MTG, its not so bad.

Let's see... What am I doing this weekend? Well, tomorrow I'm doing a box call at the Orpheum in the morning, then I'm going to the Scottish Highland Games in the afternoon, and then going back to the Orpheum to load out some play overnight. Sunday, depending on what time I wake up after the overnight gig, I'm either going to Excremento, er, I mean Sacramento to my friend's house for a barbecue and then to the range to try out my new .38 special, or just going to his house and crashing there. Monday we're going white water rafting, which I've never done and I'm excited about.

I will be painting a renovated room on my "4" day weekend. Every weekend is a 3 day weekend for myself as I work 10.5 hr shifts.
I hate to do anything really over holiday long weekends in the summer with the amount of traffic leaving and coming back to the city so I will take a single day in 2 weeks when everyone back to school/work for another 4 day weekend and do some camping up north.

Should I pick up some potato salad or anything at Costco?

Costco ribs is on my BBQ dinner menu this weekend.

my girl and i have a regular weekly game session of D&D that's been going on since halloween with 3 friends of ours. its usually on fridays but 2 of them had made other plans because i was out of town for a little bit. so, basically they are fucking around and not gaming so no game for us.

and MTG stands for magic: the gathering. its a trading card game thats been around a long fucking time but we barely started playing it. its actually pretty fun.
