Was Paul McCartney better with the Beatles or Wings?

I know this may be heresy for some, and I've heard them both but I have to go with Wings. The Beatles to me seem too pop and commercial. Paul McCartney on his own (with his wife) really comes into his own IMO with that 70's sound with Wings. There's something magical about it. My parents listened to all of his stuff, so I kinda grew up on it.
