VPN Advices

Hi, Does anybody here use a VPN at times?
Actually perhaps that is not a proper question to inquire.
I'm looking to use a vpn at times for security reasons on my desktop PC.
I've never done this but have been meaning to for years. I've read that the free vpn services are not recommended.
Anybody here know of a good one to use and/or any advice on the best way to use them.

I use PIA & have never been disappointed with it. Reasonable cost & does exactly what it should be doing.

I use two different VPN alternatives:

1. VPN AddOns for Firefox, they are good enough, sometimes they drop out, and you have to click on a fresh location out of the menue, right now, I use:

VPN
Completely free VPN without registration

2. Or, for longer use, TOR Browser, which is a really solid way to go and stay anonymous, or only to watch Youtube videos that are blocked in your area
