Eric Clapton, Paul Gilbert and Dave Knudson are my favourite guitarists. All 3 embody everything I love about guitar. Clapton with his blues chops, full of emotion. Gilbert with his unparalleled accuracy, innovation and speed and Knudson with his ability to write a pop hook, while still maintaining a unique sound and a high level of difficulty in his playing.
It all depends on what you want in a guitarist. Some people will say speed and technical ability are what it's all about. Or some will say it's the ability to write a classic riff. Either way, the one thing we can all agree on, is a great guitarist will play through their heart. You can feel it. If that's Hendrix for you? Cool. If it's Malmsteen? That's cool too. :bowdown:

The best/favorite is way to subjective. My favorites, and who I think are best, will be argued, and disputed by most everyone, that doesn't have the same musical tastes as I do. But for shits and giggles, in no special order...
