Apparently there was a security breach and the system was restored to an earlier state, so Isobel lost about 20 votes. Of course some of those were probably duplicates anyhow. Last I looked she was back to 18.

This is crazy. She was at 20 again, then back to 13. There's something screwy going on. I've seen before that votes go up an down (prior to the recent restore), and I thought they were disqualifying some votes. But this is ridiculous. I think there is a problem with the site. Maybe there is a hacker that is reducing competitors' vote counts.

Isobel's trend is definitely upward, but it is weird the way the vote totals go up and down. Here are Isobel's vote totals as I've observed them over time (all times are EDT):

3301 would be the total for all contestants. Last I checked Isobel was up to 90, which is good progress from where she was a few days ago. If people keep coming back and voting for her again each day, she will do well.

Isobel's at the back of the pack, but she's well ahead of the remaining 86 models. There's a month of voting left, and you can vote every day, so I think Isobel still has a shot.

The leaders have picked up the most votes, which makes sense for a couple of reasons: (1) You can vote every day, and the leaders are the ones who had more people voting for them in the first place; (2) As leaders pull ahead, people start to lose hope for the other candidates and try to influence the competition among the leaders.

But now that Isobel is back on the Campaign Trail (back from a shoot in Costa Rica without Internet access), she is starting to pick up an appreciable number of votes again. If current trends continue, she will end up in the top 5, but to get one of the prizes (top 3), her votes are going to have to accelerate rapidly. To pull ahead of Kimberly Marvel (436 votes) and Stephy C (387 votes) and get the third place prize, she needs to pick up an additional 25 votes per day (relative to them) over and above what current trends would project. (In the imaginary scenario where Kimberly Marvel and Stephy C peak out at their current vote totals, Isobel would need 9 votes per day, between now and the end of the contest, to take third.)

Third prize is starting to slip away. Kimberly Marvel picked up 32 votes over the past 24 hours (for a total of 468) and became the new favorite for third (as Stephy C picked up only 17). Isobel picked up only 11 votes. If Kimberly continues to pick up 32 votes/day, Isobel will need 42 votes/day to take third. Vickie 6 and Angela Ryan, with over 600 votes each, look like a shoo-in for the top 2 spots now.

The good news is that the rest of the top 10, except for Samantha Grace, have stopped picking up many votes, and Isobel is still projected to finish 5th.
