Whats the deal with all of the older bands coming out with new albums. First Metallica, then AC/DC, Guns N Roses finally got their album out, Van Halen with this one, and also KISS is going to begin working on a new studio album in the next few months.

They signed a contract with a record company which says that they, the band will put out (insert number of albums here). If the band doesn't they get sued by the record label. How hard is that to understand. And don't start bleating about how they should release their album for free on the interwebs because they already have millions and millions of dollars and therefore never deserve to make another penny in their lives.
Spare me. But these days the album is used as an excuse to tour, even though only a couple of songs from the new album will get played.
KISS has more or less said that at this point they are a nostalgia act and they only play songs from say the beginning of their career up to the mid 1980's in concert, with no new stuff, 'cause as smart business men they know that sad as it may be, the "fans" don't give a fuck about the new music and only want to hear the classics and the hits.
Dude, calm the fuck down, really. Where did I even say anything about them giving it away for free, I bought the new Metallica cd, the new AC/DC one, and will definatly buy the KISS album as they are one of my favorite bands. But you need to calm your ass down and give yourself a bit of an attitude ajustment. Untill you can post something without being an asshole you may wanna stay away. Wait untill Chef gets ahold of your ass if you don't believe me.
Don't forget about new Whitesnake album. Great return!

Except for the fact that is was the first new Whitesnake studio album in a decade.Longer if you see the Restless Heart album for what it was,a David Coverdale solo album.Looking forward to the new KISS album.

I read an interview with chickenfoot and they all said that they'd like to do at least 3 albums together.They didnt plan on a short term thing at all. Eddie VH will be back in rehab between now and the 3rd chickenfoot album.
