Hey Georges, is there a better website for this story? What a piece of :baconsalt: shite you've chosen. Before I could even attempt to read the article, I had to go past about two minutes of advertisements. Total crap!
georges doesn't understand that the reason so many criminals use that kind of guns is because anyone can purchase one. Even if you happen to have a criminal record, this kind of weaponry is so widespread that it's very easy and very cheap to get one on the black market.

These weapons are widespread because they are owned illegally and are either stolen weapens or black market ones indeed but that is not the point here. The message here is being able to defend yourself and other from potential threats. Police can't be everywhere sadly. London has a higher homicide rate than New York now. It's no easier to (legally or illegally) buy an AK-47, like the criminal had, than any other firearm in the U.S. And while the word "cheap" is relative, they're most certainly not as cheap as any number of pistols... which is what criminals tend to go for.
