We're a bit more than halfway through USA Presidents' Month.

For the History Geeks out there - What are some notable trivia/facts about the US Presidents?

Here are a few:

  • George Washington - Only sitting President to lead troops into battle.
  • John Adams - Only founding ****** President that was not a slaveholder
  • Thomas Jefferson - Primary writer of the Declaration of Independence.
  • James Madison - Wrote the Bill of Rights
  • James Monroe - Was a Law Apprentice for Thomas Jefereson
  • John Q. Adams - is the only ex-President to serve in the US House of Representatives
  • Andrew Jackson - Mad his Money in the Cotton Business. His plantation had over 150 slaves when he became President
  • Martin Van Buren - Was the first President born as a US Citizen
  • William Henry Harrison - Won the election of 1840 with 80% of the vote
