Hard to believe this is coming out almost 3 years after the scheduled release date, but it looks like Memorial day weekend we will finally see it! They've had an insane amount of time to make sure it is perfect (enough to make another film), so I'm hopeful it will deliver.

I enjoyed the first one, and it looks like they're letting Carey let loose in classic form. Idris seems like a good fit, and they even brought in the original voice actor for Tails from the games.

I'm a huge fan of JP 1 & 2
JP 3 was pure crap
Jurassic World was OK but, unlike most people, I liked JW - Fallen Kingdom better
I can't wait to see how this is gonna end. All I hope is that it won't be as horrible as Star Wars 9 but I think this is very unlikely

The manager of the local theatre let me buy the Popcorn Tin for Top Gun: Maverick, and it's awesome!

I'm using it as a holder for my disinfectant wipes, making it perfect for the pandemic

I think it was on USAToday.com. I read review of "Maverick," and they gave it 3.5 of 4 stars. At least the plot seems realistic. Will likely see it in the theater, and do ribs at Chili's as well. THIS is the type of movie to see on a big screen, with a kickin' stereo system.

Apparently most of the shots are practical and very little CG/Greenscreen. The actors even went to flight school, and we know Cruise was flying IRL no matter what.

As a viewer, there's something about knowing what you're watching is the real thing, almost like a documentary. I guess that's why it doesn't look like they're using cutting edge planes like the F-22/F-35, since that kind of access would still be heavily classified. Although I'm seeing something about a "fake" prototype which even fooled the Chinese into thinking it was a real plane..

After Top Gun, this is the next summer blockbuster I'm looking forward to. Looks like a lot of fun!

It's also saying it's a "series", but I'm not sure how they're going to stretch the premise that far.

I'm not a fan a whitewashing, but I'm willing to give this one a pass if it's as funny as the trailer makes it out to be, and they keep the Japanese representation & references up.
