In my perm at the beginning of the season, I had Juventus, Bayern and Chelsea. I see no reason to change that thinking.
Juve have a challenge to overcome Depor, but they are the best "team" in Europe and I expect them to do so.
Bayern, should already be through, they destroyed Real and should have won that game 4-0. Now the odds are against them, but I fully expect to score in Spain and I expect Kahn to have a blinder after his cock up.
Chelsea, they have the players, Crespo is the key and i'm not just saying that cos i am Argentinian. Everytime he plays he offers the know how of how to break defences with his movement, and his goal record in his career speaks for itself. If Duff and Crespo stay injury free, then Chelsea have a great chance as long as they don't run into Arsenal who they can't seem to beat.

The answer is the same as last year, Boca, Boca, Boca, Boca.
We are too strong even without Battaglia, we just dominate now, too much character, too much class with Burdisso at the back, Clemente Rodriguez on the left, and Tevez, GBS and Iarley upfront.

After 10 years we're back to this competition with a good team. Yeah, Boca is dangerous but at this time I'm sure we'll reach the final game and try to bring to Morumbi the third championship !!

A team that can defend exceptionally and attack well, will in most cases always overcome a team that can't defend and has some exceptional forward players.
Juve or Milan, will take Real out if they have to, that is if Bayern don't do it themselves. Of course Real have always to be in contention with the names they have going forward, but they are not a proper team, they are too caught up in the hype that surrounds them and i think will fall in the CL and Valencia will pip them for La Liga.
i think either juventus or real madrid with arsenal as an outsider. i am a man united fan but cant c them winning it this year, they have the players that can win any game but there defence at the mament is not performing. and chelsea could surprise a few clubs on the way to the final if ranieri can find his best 11..?

I'd love to see Chelsea get to at least the Semi's but if they get their act together and Duff starts playing like he was before his injuries then I think we have as much chance as any other team to win it. But AC would be my first choice.
I just have to say that i can't see Juve getting any further, they have looked truly disappointing for a while now and their 4 - 0 battering at Roma just fucked them up good and proper. I know they're not doing shit in Serie A but they less than convincing.

As much as I hate Arsenal I can't see anyone other than AC Milan stopping them. If they come up against Real then they will murder them as Real as pretty shabby at the back, except for when Bayern lost on Wednesday. AC having a very strong defense are the only side that I can really see putting up a strong fight against them and with Shevchenko they're pretty much assured goals if he can get the ball.Sutty said:
Good to see so many "outsiders" in this years Quarters. I would have never have guessed that Porto, Lyon, Monaco, Depor and Chelsea would still be in with a shout. Being a Chelsea fan I'm praying that they avoid Real, Arsenal and AC in the next draw. Any other outcome should be an exciting and even match, but hopefully not as even as the Stuttgart matches.
