True Love

Has anyone on here found their true love? How long before you knew they were? If you haven't, do you feel like you may have and let that person slip away?

I'd like to think my fiance is my true love. For a long time I thought I'd met my true love, but let him slip away. Now I don't think that's the case.

A week.

She was the first woman who made me feel comfortable.
She was a friend first and foremost.
And that, more than anything any other woman had done prior, caused me to open up to her.

The epiphany is when my wife (to be) told me she didn't want to see me anymore after a week of knowing her.
I balled like a 3 year-old, probably for a good 15 minutes.

That was well over a dozen years ago.
And we've been married a decade now.

I had that with my ex! There was a time I felt that way about the girl I'm with now...but lately I keep comparing her to my ex and there is NO comparison! I really need to stop that shit! But the way I got fucked over in my last relationship...it's hard to not think about once in awhile!:fight:

Well it took a long time to find her but I am happy to say that i have found my true love, she is the best thing to ever happen to me and makes me feel better than anyone ever has. She is also a member of the board

i have. im not sure the time frame, but i knew she was the one when she kicked my ass. she wouldnt talk to me for a week. it was during that time that i figured it out. and ive never touched meth again.

Mine is totally cool with me smokin pot, so I guess she's pretty damn close to "the one"

I have not found my true love yet. I can honestly say that I wont be surprised if I never do. I doubt there is even a true love out there for me
