Total Nonstop Action wrestling thread

Sting defending the TNA World Title against Rhino is the plan at this point for next month's Genesis PPV on January 11 reports Dave Meltzer. This is a result of Rhino getting a pinfall on Sting during last week's go-home Impact for Final Resolution, although plans are always subject to change. Already scheduled is a Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett rematch.

I like Rhino but can't imagine him in the main event. It worked in ECW when he could sya what he wanted but in TNA he won't be allowed to swear in his promos and he is no longer an unstoppable machine.

Have you been watching TNA lately?

There has been a lot of bleeps.

I hope Rhino continues his climb to the top of TNA.

I watch it when I can but there is no regular broadcast slot on British television. The time Impact is shown gets changed so much it is about a month since I saw an episode of it so have only seen the PPV's recently.

Don't get too excited yet, but there are currently some credible rumors about Kurt Angle returning to the WWE. His TNA contract expires in the spring of 2009, and although there were talks about him going to MMA, he could be coming to the WWE.

Kurt Angle Returning to the WWE?

Kurt Angle has another 10 months before his contract with TNA expires, but that hasn't stopped people in WWE from talking about his possible return to the company.

The discussions about Kurt Angle have involved his schedule and possible role in the company.

Kurt Angle's WWE Return.

Sounds like everything has to be about Angle.

If he doesn't like it, that's his problem. Just like Christian Cage, who is worried about his bottom dollar and not the industry.

Unless their attitudes change, they both can leave. I won't miss them. :wave2:

That was funny when they did that musical tribute to Curry Man last night. :1orglaugh

:1orglaugh Yes it was! easily one of the best parts of last nights' show.

And, it would be nice to see Daniels return as himself, no more bad, silly gimmicks. I am huge mark for the guy.

BTW, i have this feeling, maybe cause he too wears a stupid mask, that Suicide will get "fired" next yr. If he even makes it that far, in this gimmick.

You know, I getting excited to see Suicide debut and then he finally came out looking like a bad Spider-Man reject. I hope eventually Kaz comes back as himself. Same thing with Chris Daniels.

I always catch the latest Impact on Bravo Saturdays at 9.

PPVs are shown on the first Wednesday after the live broadcast also at 9 on either Bravo or Bravo 2.

Which means I avoid this thread like the plague on certain days.:)

When Kurt Angle refers to himself as the greatest wrestler in the world today, he's not kidding. He's the most valuable commodity in wrestling and he knows it. Christian Cage I can take him or leave him, but if Angle left TNA my enjoyment of Impact would be greatly diminished.

I agree. I am a big mark for both of them. CurryMan was enjoyable for a short period of time, but soon wore it's welcome out. Plus, it made Daniels a jobber. Big mistake. And, yes Suicide looks like a "Spider-Man reject"! :1orglaugh

Injury Set-back For Returning TNA Star
12/16/2008 by Bill Behrens

Jason Powell of www.prowrestling.net is reporting that Kaz (Suicide) (Frankie Kazarian) suffered a bicep injury of some kind likely at the TV Taping on Monday.

I'm sure this is disapointing to Kaz as he had just recovered from surgery.
