Hey everyone,

Here is the monthly Top20 searches for August 2009.

There has been a lot of shifting around between the girls, but Hanna Hilton and Lisa Ann keep fighting for first place. Alexis Texas climbed 11 places from 19th to 8th due to releasing her new official site and, after being off the list for a while, Nikki Benz is back on at 10th place.

Tera Patrick and Audrey Bitoni are also back on the list at 18th and 13th while Jesse Jane, Gemma Massey and Rachel Starr are off the list this month.

The list is always heavily skewed towards hardcore performers so don‘t expect adult models to be on it often. The list is also not really something that tells people much other than searches. There is a lot more variables that goes into that than a models popularity, with advertisements on Freeones website and the amount of new material she comes out with that people can search for being a huge factor in it. Adult models almost need a separate list brought up this way. (They kind of do but it's never put on the messageboard like this. Even then on Freeones' centerfold ranking on their main website a lot of the times 1/4 of the people on the centerfold top 20 will be people that should be classified as porn stars but aren't for some reason. Even then it would face a lot of the problems this list does.) In any case it's not a scientific study or poll or anything, and the list doesn’t really tell anything other than satisfying pure curiosity. It doesn't tell how "good" somebody is at least. Maybe it can be used by some other webmasters out there to decide how they are going to make their traffic flow and which models to promote to make it easier for them to make money (and maybe that's part of the real reason for it in the first place.), but that's about it.




Yeah I also know some people out there probably get tired of me continually saying this, but as far as attractiveness and the quality of the person on it the people on the list generally sucks. The overwhelming majority of people on most of these list are either not very good looking, fucked up by bad plastic surgery or tattoos, over the hill and washed up, perform circus acts in porn, work with slimeballs, have signs of drug use, been worn down by the industry and are a shell of their former selves, or some combination of the above. The only ones this particular list that I think are kind of attractive or cute (Jayden James and Ashlynn Brooke) I'm not a fan of. At least not for a while now. I don't know about anybody else, but I think a major fundamental part of the adult industry is that, you know, the people in it are supposed to be extremely attractive. Like in the very top percentile or the upper tier of the populace, with the very best of them being world class beauties. The way it is now would be the equivalent of only watching athletic games and athletes that play them or making a list of the greatest ones based on what their agents do, the fact they have good marketing campaigns, or are in a lot of commercials instead of them actually be good players.

To be honest I don’t hold anything against Freeones. They just put the list out, based on a set parameter. I’m just pointing out that the list is close to absolutely meaningless, yet some people treat it like it’s not.

This is where I personally think you're wrong. The top list, be it for the past day, month, or year isn't skewed towards any one profession. The fact is this list is made up of searches. Period. So what does it tell us when the top 10 or 20 is nothing but porn stars? People who come to FreeOnes are looking for porn stars, not models.

Every girl on the site has the same oppertunity to reach number one...but obviously advertisments, promotion of content, if they have an official site or not, new content, and other things do make a difference. And if they fuck or not seems to make a huge difference as well. Otherwise I think the numbers would say something different.

Now, if you take a look at the top 100 for August....the very first adult model is Ember Reigns at #42. The next one is Next Door Nikki at 71 so that says a lot about the popularity of Ember in the sea of porn stars.

As for the girls that are labeled as centerfolds...if they start doing hardcore and we don't switch it, let me know. We might not have realized she started doing hardcore.

It would be kinda crazy to see, say Jennifer Love Hewitt on the top 10 here, even though she is in my opinion in a league at or above many or most ladies on this list. The people have spoken, let there be porn.

this doesn't make sense cause:

1. This is not a "Hottest Girl" list
2. This is also not a "Best Actrice" list.
3. Everybody has their own taste. Just cause you don't like them doesn't mean tons of others don't like them either.

So in short, yes I do like to hear your criticism on this list BUT like the thread title says it's the top 20 searches for august. Not a top 20 best performer or most natural beauty.
