I think he's pretty funny and knowledgeable. When PTI started I gave it about month...but surprisingly he and Wilbon are pretty good on that show IMO.

Wow, couldn't disagree more. Gruden is very insightful and does an excellent job. He's able to give the coach's perspective and is he's entertaining. You're the first person I've heard complain about him.

Kornheiser is excellent on PTI with (my boy) Wilbon. Those two work extremely well together. If either of them isn't on the show that day though, I always turn it to something else. I hate the replacements they bring in. It's just not the same.

I'm not saying Gruden sucks. He's a good analyst. It's just that Kornheiser's shtick made for better television in my opinion. There's already a ton of x/o analysis out there before and after the game. It just seems like more of the same.

I am with you. I really like Gruden, but I can not stand Cornheiser at all ever.

i think he is pretty good on the pti show,i don't know much about him outside that show.i also think it is best to watch those espn shows in small doses otherwise they become tiresome to me.

That wasn't the point I was trying to make. After watching three games on Sunday it was just nice to have some comic relief on Monday. Jaworski is perfectly capable of covering the nuances of the play after it happens. Again, I never said I didn't like Gruden. He is better than a ton of other possible choices for that third booth spot.
