Ha ha...most of these really ring true. Especially these two:
Luckily, Americans you meet abroad tend to be much cleverer, but meeting those who haven’t travelled made my head hurt with the amount of facepalms I’d have to do.
(Although to be fair, in my experience having lived there, the vast majority of people from the British isles are indeed alcoholic...though to be even fairer, the vast majority of said people that I met were English, not Irish. But between the English, Irish, Welsh and Scottish, I didn't see any cultural deviations)

And here's a brilliant quote that applies to any country, though naturally a board with most members being in the States will find this statement more geared toward the States:
How about saying America is great or “awesome”? I think patriotism is an excellent quality to have, and we should all be proud of where we were born. But nationalism (believing other countries are inferior) is a terrible quality.
