At first I was going to say the thread title sounds a bit harsh. Now that I see the contents within this thread... it is mixed. She should just get cat scratch fever.
They should toss this woman in with a bunch of feral cats. I would of tossed her in the very garbage bin full of hobo waste she tossed that cat in. Oh. How it is sad to see what she did...

I was reluctant to call the thread as is -- but she is not a human being!
I applaud her actions. I'm so fucking sick of owners of so called "outside cats" shrieking and bleating how their poor ittle pwcius babies were attacked and killed by dogs or run over by cars or some other bullshit. Never mind that the cats who were killed by dogs have always been found to be tresspassing on other peoples property. It would have beben even better if she'd set fire to the cat just before she put it in the bin.

I see more dead dogs than I do cats. Cats are actually wild animals, which is why they do not need a leash, tags, or any of that sort. Dogs, however, are needed to be licensed and tagged; owned by the owner and trained just as such to stay within property limits and to not attack anything. Yet I see more dead dogs on the side of the road than I do cats.
It's sad when anyone loses their pet. There is at all no excuse for someone to throw an animal in a trash bin. At all.
Cats are moderately domesticated animals and at best owned property no matter how many people look a them as their "children". They are pets..period.
Suggesting someone ought to be killed for animal cruelty is out of touch IMO. Punished yes..about as much as one should be for malice and destruction of a person's valued possession. But nothing on the order of what should be punishment for doing something to a human. That's obvious.

as far as stray cats goes, they can be a problem especially in a small town.
