How excited are you on a scale of one to i can't even?

I'm about a 7 1/2 right now after the "201 Days of The X-Files" countdown began.

I love(d) the X-Files but the show had it's run. Bringing back shows that don't need to be brought back can only hurt the legacy IMO. Bringing back shows that were cancelled after 2-3 seasons just as they were hitting their stride makes more sense, say Carnivale or Deadwood. That I could get excited about. Although now that I think about it, Gillian Anderson........... :drool2:

Whoa! I hadn't heard anything about this until just now.

How excited am I? I'd put it at having a curiosity to check it out. It's that truth be told, I only ever saw about 3 episodes of it in their entirety. I wanted to like it, especially given Jillian Anderson. It kept piquing my curiosity and I kept giving it periodic checkouts, but I'd never finish the episodes. By the time I realized it, my attention always seemed to have waned.

So, when the 1st movie came out, I went and checked it out and I loved it. :thumbsup: I even have the VHS tape. That said, once the 6-episode mini series does come out, depending on what shows it's up against ... if it's not up against any of my absolute favorite shows, I'm curious to check it out. :yesyes:

I wonder if there'll be another XXX parody then. The two previous ones starring Kimberly Kane as Scully and Anthony Rosano as Mulder were pretty good. A new mini series would be a good excuse for another parody.

In any case, I'm looking forward to the mini series.

It's only worth bringing it back IF they resolve the Roswell/Area 51/Alien/Gov't Conspiracy.
