The Worst movie ever made?

Spanish director Pedro Almodovar's latest thriller, "The Skin I Live In," had filmgoers fleeing the theater Thursday night at its gala premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, due to some aggressively violent and disturbing content.

The film, which stars Antonio Banderas and budding actress Spanish actress Elena Anaya, focuses on a mad but brilliant surgeon (Banderas) who kidnaps a man who raped his daughter.

The doctor's daughter killed herself from the grief and it drives him to take very drastic measures. This is where it gets complicated and disturbing.

Banderas then gives the rapist a sex change and transplants his deceased daughter's face onto his body.

He later has sex with the man he has brutally experimented on and turned into a woman.

The movie also contained several disturbing rape scenes and nudity.

Just a movie you want to walk out on so you don't have to puke in the theater.

Human Centipede sounds worse than that. As far as the worst movie ever made, that is without a doubt Napoleon Dynamite, followed closely by Dragon Wars.

it really is amazing how popular that movie was and for no apparent reason...it's extremely slow, dull and boring in all honesty

Human Centipede isn't bad at all. Considering the hype it got, it's one of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen.

I will never know whether it was the worst movie ever made, cuz I now know what happens, so now I have no interest in ever seeing the movie.

And as for the human guinea pig...

Didn't say who the "guinea pig" was.

Girl/Guy:"I'll slit my throat then you'll have no toy.."

Man rapes guy's daughter - in sick detail.

Woman kills herself.

Father, rather than perhaps killing the rapist instead performs a sex-change operation on the killer and transplants his dead daughter's face onto said rapist.

Father now has sex with the man who raped his daughter, who is technically a man, looks like his daughter and yet again is the man that raped his daughter.

I'd say this movie does a tremendous job showing us how depraved society has become. There's a reason many people walked out of the preview halfway through the movie. You decide.

To me it just sounds like yet another revenge flick with the violence and disturbing content turned up to the maximum in order to fuck with the viewer. It actually sounds more like a remake of The Virgin Spring which was remade into Last House on the Left and remade again in 2009. Daughter is raped and murdered by heartless bastard(s). Father takes brutal/savage revenge on Rapist(s)/Murderer(s) but feels strangely guilty about it and swears never to take a life again.

Fin.

I didn't mean it was bad as in it's a terrible movie. It's bad because, although the concept had potential, the finished product fell way short of the goal. The plot had holes in it big enough to fit an elephant. It was definitely disappointing.

AFK..being taken to the vet to get neutered.
I don't think out and out bad taste and gore are the right meters by which to judge a movie's worth. If that were case, every movie made in the former Eastern European countries would qualify.

I think a vast combination, including the actors and directors involved (the bigger the star, the worse the movie, the greater the FAIL), plot, quality of dialog, studio investment, hype, number of script rewrites etc all play a role in the cocktail of FAIL.

So, with that in mind, IMO - and that of many, many movie buffs - thew worst movie ever made is still:

Ishtar.

Oh, god, it's bad.

For the EMPEROR!!
I haven't seen any of these new "controversial" movies yet. ............. but I still think First Knight (starring the Gerbel King) is one of the worst movies ever.
