The Ultimate Mitt Romney Flip-Flop Collection

I frequent another forum and there is a lot about Gary Johnson there. He has a following I guess. But the real fun is watching the republicans on the board going nuts on the Johnson supporters for talking away likely Romney voters. Personally to me the republicans had better choices then Romney. Not that I would have supported them but as you say Romney is real bad on this flip flopping deal. I really have no idea now what he would really try to do if he was elected.

Depends if the persons changing their belief is sincere.

I doubt anyone can honestly say they have not changed their mind on things in their life.

I hate those scare tactics. America is in trouble just because of that; people refuse to vote for who they feel is best but lesser than two evils. I've never really been keen on that.

That's true, but to change your mind on so many different subjects is just ridiculous. You don't really know what Romney stands for and by default, you can't trust him.

You can say so. Or you can say the guy has no strong principles he stands for, that he' just going with the flow.

Over your lifetime you will change your mind on many things.

We will find out what Romney really believes if he is elected.

If he lies too much then he needs to be a one term President.

And to change your mind so dramatically so rapidly. Many of the changes in the vids are very recent, since the primaries for example.
He is not to be trusted, he has demonstrated he will say whatever the audience he is talking to at the moment wants to hear.

Like starting another freaking war, that's what. That's right at the top of his list. The guy is a total RINO too, who will lie through his teeth to get into the Oral Office. Remember also, he was liberal in Massachussets (he made purchasing medical insurance MANDATORY - essentially the blueprint for "Obamacare"). He hasn't displayed an ounce of conviction in his views.

Honestly though I thought the health care overhaul he pulled out in Mass was actually a decent idea, although I wonder about the folks who are homeless or broke how they would ultimately purchase it. In my state we have a thing called GA or GAMC or MNCare which basically is free health care for people who make under a certain amount. It in a way creates a situation where if you are down on your luck it doesn't really matter if you get off your ass, which I don't agree with at all. At the same time, at the end of the day, people abuse the system regardless, right, so I think our system does in fact work...for us.

It also creates a cancerous atmosphere which invites freeloaders from all over the Midwest to migrate here (among other ones) to abuse what people like my families long history here helped create. See, I'm all for helping out the people here that have a family history of contribution and haven't just shown up in recent times to suck off us. But that's just me.

How can one vote for a candidate whithout knowing what he stands for ?

Classic. The guy changes his mind (without any legitimate memory evidently, no matter how reticent it may be) more often than a 15-year-old girl. I don't like Obama much either but at least I think he is a man of his convictions (whether one agrees with him is another matter). Romney doesn't seem to have any convictions at all other than to say whatever it takes to get the presidency. Conservatives will support him no matter what since he is not Obama. Romney has the backbone of a jellyfish. Sad that these two are the best we can offer. The future of our children depends on it. I'd vote for Johnson if I didn't believe it was a wasted vote.

Vote for Johnson. I've heard insanity defined many times as doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different outcome - it makes perfect sense in politics.

I'm voting Green, myself. Sure, they're not going to win, but at least I'm voting for change, and not supporting the same ol' shit.

I don't trust Mitt Romney, he's about the same as John Kerry was, flip-flopping on issues and trying to make his opponent look bad. Certainly if Kerry was credible and had some concrete ideas to make a country great it'd be good. But all he comes off as is a complete rich man who simply loves his money and being rich and will basically steal and launder until he gets his way. The problem is Romney never knew how to actually struggle and have no money. Money was always there for him and he never understands about the people who work on a meager salary and live paycheck to paycheck and have had to fight for all of that. But unlike Kerry, he does have a nose for business but his views are so far left, there's not much to warrant a vote for a president.
