The simple pleasures in life are the best.

We all see that supercar, we all dream of our own harem of 80 women, a job as a fighter pilot, or ruler of the world. We all have our little pipe dreams of what we want, but don't we often find that the simple pleasures in life are the best? I think we often ignore this fact, despite knowing it deep down.
I apologise if this kinda thread has been done before, but I couldn't find anything after a quick search, so I'll start us off - list those simple little pleasures that are just really satisfying in a basic way.

Me? I like to read a nice book in bed cuddled up under a duvet with a cup of tea when it's raining outside. I like to listen to the nasty rain and feel warm, comfortable, dry and secure. It's an animal feeling. It's a good feeling.

What are your simple little pleasures?

- logging into amazon DTP to check up on my book sales. they have been beating my admittedly low expectations for months now

- the quiet time after i leave work. it is noisy where i work, hundreds of people... i like coming home and just sitting in a corner without turning on the light for a few minutes, just to enjoy the silence.

- this is going to sound silly, but... mcdonald's sausage mcmuffin with egg. i usually don't get up early enough on my off days to eat one, but when i do it reminds of why i should get up earlier.

are just a few simple pleasures that i'm pleased to have.

I like watching it snow outside while I play Mario Kart Wii (or Super Smash Bros).
Also, I like studyin' while watching it snow outside.

●Being able to stay inside on a rainy day
●Missing a television show, only to see a rerun of it on later

Those are a few of mine that just can't be beat.

Just me and my thoughts... You get to see the city in an entirely other way at night and you see things you never noticed before.
