So I waited three days for the activation mail to arrive. There is a thread filled with manual activation requests. The mods have to approve attached pictures, just like the first couple of posts of new members. Even though my account has been activated I still can't view attached images, start a new thread or post for that matter in any sections of the forum other than this. Don't get me wrong, a well moderated forum is great. But this one is over the top, it makes the whole process of joining ridiculously cumbersome. When you obviously lack the manpower to keep up, why do you deliberately quadruple your workload? There are a lot of successful, civilised forums out there with fifth the restrictions you impose on your members.

It's not the mods that are keeping you from seeing other forums. It's a problem with the activation process. Try PMing Petra about this.
