The Party Girl

The Party Girl

A rain slick highway and a car too fast,
She didn’t make the curve, now life is past.

The life of the party, that she could be;
but now she is dead, plain for all to see.

That gorgeous body, once given such acclaim,
now lies cold; we remember not her a name.

While in this world, she had only thoughts of pleasure and wine;
now life is over and at death’s table she must dine.

No thoughts given to love of God,
but from lustful men, always seeking an approving nod.

That shameless bust, which gathered so much lust,
now decays and returns to dust.

Where perfume and lace once graced her skin,
now only worms & maggots gnaw, let their feast begin.

The carcass rots with a stench so foul;
O daughter of sin, where art thou now?

In the dungeons of Hell, oh sinner depraved,
for all eternity thou shall curse and rave.

The demons and the dammed, are now her lot;
the just reward that her sins have bought.

So remember these words O sinners, and I bid thee ponder them well,
lest, for all eternity, thy soul should rot---- in Hell.

That's just a baaaad poem, really bad, and if pity or remorse was the intended result............

I think that she tried to write a drunk-driving prevention poem, but she ended up with a goth song. Either way, I won't talk shit about her like everyone else has.
