I'm not a fan of this directors previous work, but nor am I a fan of Superman so I probably wouldn't have been seeing it anyway.

So it's a win-win situation for everybody.

It's not Hollywood running out of ideas. It's a court case. A judge ruled that Warner Bros. had to start working on a new Superman movie by 2011. Otherwise the Siegel/Shuster estates would have the right to sue Warner Bros. for damages.

I am such a freakin' geek. The first thing that popped into my head after seeing this was Jean-Luc Picard.

As for Zack Snyder, I guess that's not too bad of a choice. He's alright. At least they didn't try to get M. Night Shyamalan to do it.

I don't know what you fuckers are talking about. 300 and Watchmen were awesome (FU if you disagree ) Sucker Punch looks like it will be too. Plus Nolan is producing the Superman series. It will be as good if not better than Nolans Batman series.
