The NEW Max Hardcore !

I know it not breaking news or anything, but I came across this article and was suprised that he would even consider going back into porn after what he's been through...He says he's changed, do you beleive him !?...Please share your thoughts or experiences regarding the controversial figure Paul F. Little, formerly known as "Mad Max" !

"'... I really got a lot of different interesting perspectives on life by being in there, by looking at life through other people's lives, and I realized that some of the things I was sure about, I was more sure of, I was more positive I was doing the right thing, and other things, I learned in prison to change my way of thinking, to help people more and to be more open-minded, to have more humility, more objectivity, be more caring and have more gratitude. And that's my goal right now: I want to see what I can do to help people, because I discovered, the more I help people, the more I help myself."

I've seen two of his videos. He's into some power sex/little girl role play thing, which I suppose is interesting to watch on occasion, but he's just weird and annoying.

I agree with Will. Paul Little's prosecution was just another example of the selective nature of these types of cases. The issue that he and others run into is that prosecutors just have to find some podunk area where the material being offered violates "community standards" in that area. And most any pornographic material could be prosecuted if some overzealous DoJ lawyer or state AG wants to make an example of the producer or distribution company - usually for political gain. But certain types of material, certain porn themes, are almost never prosecuted... even though they feature some of the very same general themes that were present in Max Hardcore's movies (only they show the flipside). Gimme a break!

I have no issue with people not liking Max Hardcore's style or movies. I'm not really into them either - just not my thing. But I've found a very simple solution to films or scenes that I do not like (whether porn related or mainstream): I don't watch them!!! What I object to is being told (by the government or courts) that we are allowed to watch a femdom movie with a mock castration and a female/male strap-on rape scene, but a similar scene that is male/female is illegal and forbidden by law. That is, in my opinion, illogical and irrational. Either they are both "illegal" or neither is.

Moral hypocrisy abounds in these cases. Seriously. If you don't like something, turn it off... or don't turn it on to begin with! How hard is that?! :dunno: Too many people act like they can't get through life unless they have a nanny watching over them these days.

I don't really see any difference between him and the facialabuse guys...I don't really like it, I think most of the vomit and other similar stuff is gross, but not illegal between consenting adults ...However, I don't think he was absolutely innocent...I saw some of the stuff that allegedly got him locked up and he had definately crossed the line and was getting worse..

But I do agree that he was set up...The Bush Administration wanted to limit competition for some of his Big business associates so they started going after some of the smaller players (more Republican attacks on the middle class):

"Everybody's worried because they don't know where it's going, and that's obviously what their objective was," said the Seattle area S&M pornographer who asked not to be identified. He predicted that all pornographers would suffer from an expanded Justice Department crackdown, "except the big guys, who can afford to fight it."

The "big guys," this pornographer and others pointed out, these days include Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation and the General Motors Investment Management Corporation, which together own a large part of DIRECTV, a company that beams pornography to hotel and home televisions via satellite. Hotel chains, such as Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt, and Time Warner Incorporated also make considerable money from selling pornography, the Washington Post has noted. None of them appear to be on the Justice Department's hit list, yet.

"They're just going for the easy targets," complained the local S&M pornographer. "Nobody's going to touch Marriott Hotel chain, General Motors, and all that bunch."

That being said, I still think Max Hardcore made himself and even easier target than he already was by some of the sutff he was doing...I think he even had a website that offered free porn to American troops in exchange for pictures of dead Iraqi soldiers...

Towards the end it seemed like his movies were getting gross and abusive to the point that it wasn't even sex anymore...just an attempt to film the most disgusting stuff he could think of for shock value to sell vids.

But I think that is a problem with alot of porn these days, the industry wants to argue for artistic freedom, but then you do stuff like Facialabuse, Cumbang, Meatholes that's basically just socially retarded garbage meant solely to be demeaning to woman. The industry already has enough enemies so why make it easier for them to find yet another reason to take you down ?

So yeah I beleive he was set up and that most of what he was doing may not have been legally technically wrong, but do you always need a court to determine right from wrong...It seems like there is so much hot stuff you could make within reasonable bounds without choosing the darkest path possible.

I don't know what the NEW kinder gentler Max Harcdore is doing now, porn wise, I just don't know why, given his criminal obscenity record, why he would even risk it.
