The 'Maxed out on Rep' Club

I'm glad it's been repped out.
It was only useful in the end to give a short quick PM.
At last too there won't be anymore of these _ _ _ _ rep club threads.
It was a good idea at first when people was repping for what it was intended for saying thanks for giving something to the board. But it got silly when people just started repping for the sake of repping. I got PM's asking why I hadn't repped them back. As I had to explain a million times, I don't come on the board to just rep people. I come to give something to the whole board, not just to some people. I come to look at things people have posted, to post myself. Also to keep running certain threads I manage and also one's I regularly post in. I joined when it was new.
As I've said quite a few times and now it's happened "take it away and see if I care" and now you have your answer "no" :2 cents:

My thoughts.
Rep isn't what it used to be. Its a game now, back in the day (lol) it was a badge of pride. Recognition for a job well done, for participation and trying to improve the board, sharing with members information you've come across. A boost so to speak to continue to bring good to the board.
Sometime ago when I first came back I saw new people rise so fast in rep with a huge 15 post count of "Wow shes hot", "Cool links"
and the rest of their time in games. Sadly I saw rep for what it had become then. At that point was when I requested on the board to be repped with a comment on my post, not for the sake of rep. I have been cussed out in PM for not spreading fast enough. My response was "I don't rep just to spread. Contribute somewhere besides games and maybe I will." I even got a PM saying until I rep them I receive no more from them. lmao Wow, what a threat!. The worst was after being attacked on the board recently by a member in MOTW who said he had given me rep and I walked over him and never acknowledged him or repped back, that I "walked all over him". Rep system does have bugs apparently also, I never received good or bad rep from that member in my eyes/in my rep box. A screen shot I sent proved it. I wanted to know if he indeed had repped me. Although it showed he did to a mod. Doesn't matter, he did bad rep me then though and "took my rep back bitch" lol Many still continued to just rep so they could spread, honestly though I did receive most from posts members thought good.
Anyway, like in my thank you thread to all the members. I do hope everyone continues to take a moment to rep those they feel contribute and rep good posts they put up. Not just rep to spread. I guess this will be my only post in here also. Good posting to all.
