The homeless

A home is an abstract idea. These fuckers need houses.- George Carlin

nope/ bad idea. they need a place to live / sub-prime mess /

First time I EVER had to neg rep someone  But some of these guys need help, most are vietnam vets, and some are just down on their luck, but OBAMA is not helping, it was just a popularity contest which the supposedly cool guy won, I don't say ship em off & execute them I say Give Americans Our Jobs back & help our own before giving Iraq/Afgan/SouthKorea what we have left, else the Chinese our gunna kick our ass for not having the money we fronted......

Just kill half, and stock the homeless food pantries with enough meat for the whole year.

Hey, it's protein, right?

On a more serious note, this is a bit of a slippery slope. After you do this to all the homeless, who's next? Those with AIDS? then those with cancer? How about politicians and lawyers?

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Better idea, quit giving billions in aid to EVERY FUCKING other country...keep our nose out of every other countries business, AND FOOTING THE BILL...maybe, just maybe, we would have enough money to help our own. However, if you are giving the people the power to do such a thing, I would prefer to take the money back from the thieving sacks of festering rectal puss, we call politicians and bankers, and just give it to the homeless, so they can help themselves.

Finally someone with a sense of humor.

Negative feelings towards the homeless, the mentally challenged, the mentally unbalanced, etc, all stem from a lack of social empathy.

Add to that the common fallacy that the homeless are homeless due to laziness.

Whenever someone says, "If I were homeless, I'd work my butt off until I could afford a home," I want to respond: "But YOU wouldn't be homeless, because you're not chemically unbalanced without any access to medical help or proper medication. If you were in need of medication and unable to get your meds, you WOULD be homeless."

It is ignorant to assume that a homeless person has everything you have, minus the good sense to try.

I've always advocated that we should shoot them for sport. They're just a drain on the economy and they're not advancing humanity. They're expendable.

And who wouldn't enjoy a real life version of The Most Dangerous Game?

I hope none of us ever has to experience what it is to be homeless.

The fact the "they're" a drain on the economy implies that the only value of a human being is to support the economy.

Oh, but you do add, "and they're not advancing humanity." By whose standards? In what ways would you judge an advancment in humanity? By creating art? What if we gave the homeless water colors and paper. Would they be advancing humanity enough then? What specifically do you want a homeless person to do to advance humanity?

Then because they're not feeding the economy (true on the surface) or advancing humanity (vague and debateable) you claim the homeless are therefore "expendable."

I'd argue that we're all expendable.

I'm not draining the economy (employed) and I'm advancing humanity (art and education.) But do you think our society would care if I died? Aside from close friends and family, no one would even care. They'd hire someone to replace me at work in a month or too, and life would go on. To me, that's the definition of expendable. And I'm willing to bet everyone hanging out at freeones is expendable too.

As for the real life version of "The Most Dangerous Game," the point of that story isn't how cool it would be to hunt and kill humans. The point is how morally defective humans are who want to see other humans hunted. One might argue that a person who advocates for such entertainment is not advancing humanity. Rather that person is undermining humanity.

Well, at least you're not a drain on the economy. You can proudly put that on your business cards: "I help keep the machine running!"
