The great battle: Alpha vs. Beta

Hey everyone,

I'm an alpha guy trough and trough. Majored in Arts, History, Geography and Statistics in high school and I'm now almost finishing my Poli Science College degree. To help with my Statistics I'm following a Math ***** and besides having to build my Math skill from the ground up, I've experienced that there are a lot of prejudices between students of social and technical studies.
I think this is a bad thing, every science is useful to society and humankind in general. Further more, my personal experience is that a lot of beta's (that's how we call technical students in the Netherlands) are arrogant. They think that social studies are for dumb people. (Though I have to admit that to succesfully finish a technical study you will need more math. My theory is that math, unlike many social fields of knowledge like history or politics, really has to build up. With history, you can study any period seperately, but you can't study Math areas seperately. That's why technical studies are harder for social students then vica versa.)
