Obviously this lot we currently have are totally ****, I can see Lampard retiring from international football as he is 32, and will be 34 by time the European Championships come along, then Gerrard might actually start performing!
We need to forget about the F.A's so called golden generation, more like the copper generation if you ask me, and get players like Joe Hart, Jack Rodwell, Jack Wilshire, Adam Johnson, into the team, even have a look at Blackburns young centre-back Phil Jones! Stop playing 4-4-2, you play 4-4-2 in sunday league and the championship, not at the World Cup, play either 4-2-3-1 or forget about winning Euro 2012.
We need to stop obsessing and thinking every player needs to 'world class'. :dunno:

I would still have Gerrard in but Wilshire would not be too far behind him at all, we need to build the next crop of players/generation and build towards Euro 2012, give these young players a shot at the big time in friendlys at least! We all know players like Rodwell, Johnson, Wilshire, Hart are brilliant players.
Johnson should've gone to South Africa, he would've tore the defenses in the group stages to peices with his pace and trickery.
The whole team needs to be looked at, and if Lampard doesn't retire from international football he needs to be pushed!
