The fans at Iowa have hit me in the feels. College football traditions, what's your favorite?

I love the pomp and pageantry of college football. A&M's 13th man; Howard's Rock; Nebraska's blackshirts; Touchdown Jesus and anything associated with Notre Dame on a football Saturday; Army/Navy. And then there's my beloved Hawkeyes. We've had a few good traditions like singing the Hokey Pokey in the locker room or the marching band playing "In Heaven There Is No Beer after a home win; or infuriating legendary coaches like Bo Schembechler with the visitors pink locker room; Floyd of Rosedale, etc. etc.

But this week during the Iowa vs Wyoming game the good people of Iowa did something remarkable. And it caught the attention of SVP.

There are so many great one but, for me, when Texas fans rise and sing The Eyes of Texas" at the OU-Texas Red River Shootout (I know, the politically-correct title is Rivalry so pardon me) it gives me goosebumps. No prouder time to be a Texan!

Shows how little I care about A&M. I have known about the 12th man since I was 10.

My favorite college football tradition is when the Tar Heels field their usual shit squad and lose to Wofford in mid September. Or they have a great year by their standards and get to play in the Stanley Steemer bowl against Dayton where the Flyers pound them 74-6.
The greatest tradition is when they are out of contention by October 1st and Tar Heel basketball Midnight Madness is only 2 weeks away.

Yeah, Michigan has that great tradition of losing to OSU. Nothing better in college football.
