The 'Die Hard' Trilogy Poll

I had a recent drunken discussion with some friends (which eventually turned into an argument, and then a fight) over which Die Hard movie was the greatest of the 3.

And with number 4 coming out soon, i thought a poll would be quite fitting for the occasion.

Any other comments on 'why' would be good too :thumbsup:

ive never seen part 2. but, i did enjoy 3 better than 1. i loved the part when they drove the taxi through the park. ive always wanted to do that. :rofl:

John McClane saying “Yippee-ki-yay, Motherfucker” in the other "Die Hard" sequels just doesn't cut like the original comment to Alan Rickman (who was the best "Die Hard" bad guy, imo)...

Easily Die Hard. One of the best movies in it's genre. 2 was great as well though. 3, aside from the plot holes, was pretty good. But neither can trump the original.

That and: Hans Gruber > Colonel Stuart/Simon Gruber

I liked the first one the best. When I think of a movie Bruce Willis has been in that is usually the first one that comes to mind.

None really I only found them all average. Just can't get my head round Bruce Willis been a action hero. Always looks like the guy who would be the first shot to me. And I can't believe there's a forth on the way.

That's part of what I like about Bruce Willis. He's not the pretty boy or mucle bound type, yet he is still believeable in the role he plays and seems likes he tough. In that respect I find him a lot better than people like Matt Damon or even Keifer Sutherland for that matter.

I loved all 3, but i went with the original, it set a standard for action movies that has to this day not been matched by many.
