The "College Rules" wallpaper background is kinda distracting...

Is it just me and my old age, or anyone else think the background wallpaper advertising is just a bit much?

I'm guessing it's something we can't change in our viewing settings and Freeones will be set to this "College Rules" wallpaper for a couple weeks, eh?

I find it distracting and annoying too, but they gotta pay the bills somehow, and as far as ads go this is pretty easy to live with. At least its not pop ups, rollouts, or full screen obstructing ads.

It's really bad design—there's got to be a better way to integrate this ad. There are some pretty gifted designers who contribute to FO, I bet they could proffer some better alternatives.

How about fade the logo a little so it's not the most dominant element on the page? Or how about just run a banner on the top of every page or something.
