The way he said it made me LOL
Someone find that bit and post it

****** the Block.
Gears of War 3.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

Hey, if they set it in L.A. and had the Crips/Bloods taking on the aliens, the last scene would be a totally levelled city and spaceships without a scratch on them. The funny thing is, if the aliens were completely peaceful and friendly, that would still be what the last scene would look like. :1orglaugh

I think it makes a change from most movies being set in America. Nothing wrong with the country in general. It's just when it comes to the entertainment side of things the market is over saturated with Americanized movies and video games. I look forward to seeing it to see what I think of this movie when it comes out. I like American movies set in other places like the three Bourne movies they would be dull if they were based in the US. It's a US man in Europe which makes a breath of fresh air in the locales used. The same goes for a zombie movie due out soon called "The Dead" it's about a guy from the US travelling across a zombie ravaged Africa with an African soldier he meets along the way. Sort of like a zombie road movie. Hopefully the setting for this zombie movie brings back the sort of feeling of issolation we got from Fulci's Zombi 2 aka Zombie Flesh Eaters. As it had a lonely issolated styled setting kind of similar to the desert setting of Africa. I think Fulci's was set on a desert island. It's been a while since I saw it.

I have no problem with movies being shot elsewhere. It's the gangster macho b.s that makes me laugh. When Hollywood pushes out garbage like this, it comes off cheesy and stupid. But these guys have accent, so it's a breath of fresh air? :1orglaugh It's even being compared to District 9, which was awesome. C'mon man.

I'll watch it with extremely low expectations.

It is a breath of fresh air when it comes to accents yes. I am tired of British stars having to put on American accents when they do roles. The movie companies in the US are extremely ignorant towards most foreign accents. They think the people in the US wont be able to understand a strong accent that isn't American. And that pisses me off. Some would blame the American people for the dislike I wont It's the companies to blame for feeding the masses not the masses. Universal wanted to stick subtitles on the movie when it went to the US due to the accents used. The director asked the US crowd that watched the movie without subtitles if they understood the movie, they said yes. So once again these mainstream movie execs got it wrong. When do they ever get it right. Me I wont be watching it with any expectations due to it being made by the producers of Shaun of the Dead. A movie that I just so happen to dislike. If I like it it wont be anything in it that's caused me to be biased then. And if I don't like it I wont be surprised since it was made by the Shaun of the Dead producers. I'm willing to give it a go though.

I simply can not wait until they announce an American remake of this movie because I'm dying to read some pompous, self righteous rants about evil Hollywood and the creative bankruptcy.

The only self righteous rants would be from those that work in Hollywood trying to defend their own greed.
