The Battle of Marawi

This was an epic battle that took place in the southern Philippines island of Mindanao in May 2017 that lasted til that October. With the ISIS-aligned Maute Group and Abu-Sayaff basically taking over an entire town and holding it hostage while committing all kinds of atrocities. Fighting ISIS in the Far East.


Bless the brave souls who fought to liberate that city.

Having high definition cameras on drones definitely changes the the dynamics in war correspondence.
