The Aftermath of Obama's Health Care Speech (to Congress)

I use the term "aftermath" solely because it looks like it was a disaster for Republicans and their teabagger allies.

1. Americans found it persuasive in favor of reform - 56% very positive reaction to the speech, 21% somewhat positive. More than three-quarters of those surveyed reacted positively to his speech.

2. Wilson, the neo-Confederate asshat (I'm sure race HAS nothing to do with his desperate, ineffectual attempts to humiliate Obama) who lied by falsely claiming that Obama lied....

3. The GOP response man has a pitiful history in the health care field - THIS was the best the right could come up with?? "Lord"/"Doctor" Boustany???

4. Sarah Palin came out swinging on her Facebook page. She said nothing of Congressman Wilson's false "You lie!" outburst, but she did not like some terms that Obama used in the speech, and responded with "so much for civility" (!!!)

So, what were your impressions of the speech and the policies at issue, fellow FreeOners?
