Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?

Mayhem

Hey Marlo, seriously, call around the shooting ranges within driving distance. It is not uncommon for someone who owns one of these (or a rifle close enough to it) to take it to shooting competitions and let people shoot it for a few bucks a round. I have seen it several times in my travels.

+1 to that. being in dallas i'm no more than 20 min. away from atleast 10 diff gun ranges and you can rent anything they have for $25-$40 per hr (plus ammo).

I've fired many, many military weapons from an old 0.303 Lee Enfield rifle to a 120mm recoilless antitank weapon. Not to mention an old Vickers medium machine gun fed via a canvas belt.
The 120mm Wombat was awesome. You sighted it by means of a matched 0.50 rifle loaded with tracer ammunition; when this registered a hit you fired the main weapon.Being recoilless there was a lethal area of about 75 yards depth behind the Wombat, it made a hell of a noise and lobbed a 95 lb shell which went off with a huge bang too.I think we frightened a lot of sheep that day.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
the M1928 is much cooler in it's WWII configuration as the M1A1

No...no, absolutely not! By doing that, you take away the nostalgia of how, and why the weapon came to be, what it was, and why it became so famous and note worthy. You take away the rate of fire, the fore grip, and the ability to accept a 100 round drum. Believe it or not, I know a guy that bought the version you mention, brand new just before Clinton fucked with the rules again. Still hasn't been fired, and is in the box, locked in his safe. He paid $1500.00 for it, plus whatever his tax stamp from the ATF cost at the time.
