The band name is Torn. We are a relatively new band out of northern NJ.

I've never seen anyone do this kinda thing on here so let me know what you think.

Have a singer that "growls" = You guessed it, suck

Have lyrics we can at least sort of understand = positive

Have a way we can hear your stuff?

Nah, chill out. I am the biggest Iron Maiden fan you will ever find so I know we share the same taste. I wouldn't say Green Day sucks. I would NEVER listen to their "music" but I don't deny they have some talent and the are good at what they do. It's just that what they do isn't worth doing and most of their "fans" are 17 year old skinny dudes that with bulimia, dog collars, shitty jet black hair, lips shut together with a staple ***, fingernails painted with a black sharpie, shitty attitudes and not a clue.

Which sucks as it used to be straight forward punks/rockers who were into them... Damn the emo scene, ruins another once great band.

They are one of the best mainstream political bands around.

Another thing that sucks... They never used to be political.


I wish they had split up before Warning was recorded. "American Idiot" would of never happened, and there for no emo shites would ever listen to them...

They got political after Bush started his **** - so did Keane, Muse, and so on. None of them used to be political. Good for them. They're not as outspoken as I wish they were, but they're a start. I hated half of what they did before "Warning" to be honest - sorry I **** American Idiot too, but I like "Holiday", "Boulevard of BD", and ESPECIALLY "**** me up when september ends" and most of all "the saints" with U2.

Holiday is a pretty good song i must admit, and the last minute or so of Broken Dreams rocks pretty damn hard, it's almost worth listning to the whole song just for that bit.

That's well said. One of the reason I **** these kind of bands is because of the fans and thier stupid immature 'fuck life' attitude.

I guess you could kinda consider it a forum, but you'd really have to stretch it. Not to be a dick, but that's what I think. And as far as the band name, we ain't a fuckin' bullshit emo band.
