Tailgating ASSHOLES & RUDE PARKING

I do like to complain and that is interesting to reading of others problems.

PARKING TROUBLES

where I live a 2 bedroom and 1 bath house was permitted to become a 7 bedroom - 6 bath room house in a residential area.

renters eventually showed up and at one point 20 to 23 cars were part of that houses occupants- I was very careful when taking note of that fact when I saw that a person would park and walk in to that house or park in the driveway (I did not count a car parked in front of the house as you could not be sure) It took months to determine for sure.

the owner came over one day and I guess he felt quilty because a person had a flat tire after parking in front of my house and I told it was not of my doing and told him he could park there

I interjected that on trash day I like to put trash cans out for city collection and would like to do that 1 day a week so it would be nice if he allowed me to do that otherwise park away all you want

the weekend came and he was parked with his truck in front of my house and surely I thought he would move it for trash day Monday (with the spacing of 3 cans, yard clippings, recycle, trash you can not park and put out cans

on trash day Monday when I left for work in the morning he was parked there as he was with out moving all weekend- how rude he was I thought.

some nice polite notes were ignored

I called to see if having to many boarders/renters was illegal and it was not according to a govt agency

they liked my house parking as it was just across the street and continued for 15 years

after many years I started putting trash cans out all week as most of the neighbors did and an inspector came and I got a letter to stop that however all the neighbors still put theirs out

I called on the rest of the neighbors thinking it unfair that only I could not leave my cans out all week to reserve my space for trash day

eventually they stopped with their trash can space blocking tactics- parking problem still existed same as before. I thought they might park else where sometimes

eventually one person with 5 junker cars which left his cars for longer than the allowed 72 hours who never parked in front of my house was targeted by me as a way to get back at their rude parking behavior- I successfully had him towed by the city as an abandoned car (parking longer that 72 hours on a street)

I even had a trailer ticketed for street parking from another house

Vehicles were marked frequently by the city to check if they would move and they got the hint.

I would never complain. I figured the initial conversation WITH THE OWNER WHICH HE STARTED WAS ENOUGH.

bottom line they were going to park in front of my house no matter what and move my trash cans even when I put them out on trash day
no reasoning with some - there was parking one half block away but they made a point to inconvience a neighbor rather than inconvience them selves

it got to a point where they had to park up there as I had only one space

IN CONCLUSION

when you are rude to a neighbor the neighbor may make it difficult for you in other ways if you have decided to park trailers on the street, put trash cans out ect, ect

I once left a very nice note on a car only to find the tires had been drilled when I returned- I did not drill the tires but the police did contact me by phone

WHEN THE HOUSE WAS PUT UP FOR SAle-- I MADE SURE to put my trash cans legally out on my front lawn and stopped weeding my front yard to get back as my ass hole neighbor.

the house started out at 950000 dollars and sold for 425000 dollars 6 years later after a divorce by the couple the wife and the asswipe hubby.

NEXT TIME YOU want to be rude just think of all the collateral damage AND other rudEness that can be returned legally with calling the various govt aGENCIES.

those rat fink hotlines to report your neighbor for violations for watering, parking , trash I am sure are getting calls from people offering payback for other slights and rude stuff. SO BEWARE ! n

Sometimes parking can be a little tight in my apartment complex. One of the problems is that people are having their relatives to park their cars while they are off to India for 3 months. This happens all the time.

Another thing is when it snows. We shovel out our spots and some put a cone or chair to keep their spots. Perfectly understandable if you're going out to the store or work. It's another thing when they're gone for 4 days. I don't do the cone thing since I work irregular days and hours so I don't mind those rare occasions where someone else takes my spot and I have to walk a distance form a farther spot. I'll get it back by the next day. One time this happened and when the car was moved they put a chair in the spot THAT I SHOVELED OUT. Did I move the chair and park my car there? No. I rolled right over it as if it weren't there. That bitch got my message.

So based on this, plus your tailgating fun thread and your "I piss on the floor of movie theaters to ward off people with cell phones" thread, you're basically... antisocial? With no ability whatsoever to deal with adversity?

Fantastic.

in a movie a couple of months ago I realized the car moving situation in a snow environment
I would hate living in a snow location- especially if I have to park outside

in my location street parking is fair game as soon as you move your car and saving a place with trash cans or other objects even in the parking edge of the street is illegal

I agree it is rude of a neighbor to do tag team parking with 2 or more vehicle rotating in and out in front of your house- but not illegal

if you decide to complain and anything happens to their car later on by some one unknown you become an instant target for retaliation.

that is why I do not complain just get even by reporting on them for some other illegal infraction they do- you must be patient. they might get the message.

where I live a vehicle legally becomes abandoned after 72 hours with out moving and after parking enforcement marks it and observes that it can be ticketed, towed and impounded.
they may ask when it was parked there but they must observe it as people might lie.
