i change my pull every summer. Books will change creative teams and the book may end up being not as good, or maybe a shuffle is necessary. For the past 5 or so years, Daredevil has been my only continuous title.
This summer in particular is perfect for a new pull. Both Marvel and DC are doing post mega event series relaunches.
I would like to put effort into this opener, posting pics of all the new stuff coming but i guess thats a no-no on these boards.
"Astonishing" series books are relaunching with X-Men and a team-up book featuring Spiderman/Wolverine.
But the big thing at Marvel is "The Heroic Age" with a new NEW Avengers ongoing along with Secret Avengers, Black Widow, and Brubaker is doing stuff at Captain America. What im looking forward to is the new Thunderbolts lead by Luke Cage.
If you prefer muties over heroes, this may not be the best time to jump in. Its "Days of Future Past" goings on, so good luck.
DC has "Brightest Day" happening. Many new re-launches, but first... Grant Morrison is back to writing Batman.
Stracynski is writing Superman and Wonder Woman into an "all new direction".
Green Arrow, Birds of Prey, The Flash (which is out now actually) are relaunches from Brightest Day. Justice League as well being twice a month book.
Batman Beyond is coming, and books Powergirl, Superman/Batman, Actions Comics are getting new creative teams.
