Suggestion - WTF?WTF?WTF?

Seeing as it's pretty obnoxious to see that every so often.. and new board members make topics/posts and ask what it means pretty regularly.. I thought I'd dole some common sense. Change WTF? to BannedWebsite!BannedWebsite!BannedWebsite!

Maybe DoNotLinkToThisSite or NotAllowedOnFreeOnes?NotAllowedOnFreeOnes?
Yeah... might wanna do that.

How about just a complete outright ban on every member who links a banned website, that'll learn em'. ;)

Seriously, I think that would be a better idea because hopefully once its spelled out for them they'll get it.

But I'm sure there will still be a few who still wont get it.

We leave the rest for Aces&Jacks. He enjoys tearing the meat off the bones as they scream...

Why not just read the board rules where it says
8.) Do not try to work around the word filter. If the link you posted comes up as wtf?wtf?wtf? then the link is not allowed on the Freeones Message Board.

But yeah new members never read the board rules before posting.

Can't say I blame them though. It's a lot of text.

Some sort of indexing might help.

Is there a list of the banned sites posted anywhere? Or is it just trial and error?

If the site hosts stolen content, be certain it's not allowed. I'm sure that gives a pretty good idea on which ones will come up wtf?

But, suggestion about changing the name is noted.

About banning immediately:
I would be banned several times already, if that rule existed.

At a certain point, I decided to preview first before posting (trial and error method). This did help. But a couple of weeks ago I saw some links, that I posted some months before, were still changed in wtf?wtf?. In the period in between I thought that those links were OK, though. Maybe a bit naive, but hey .... I am naive, it's a part of my personality! :D

I know I can only speak for myself, but I don't violate the rules on purpose. And, who knows, maybe this also goes for many others.

I apologize for my bad mistakes, but I'm glad I haven't been banned for it.

Anyway, I agree with Torre82min. The wtf?wtf? mark is a bit confusing. And the 'bad reading' is also part of the enthousiasm of new members, I think. They register and want to join immediately. It's not always wise to do so, but hey .... it certainly is a lot of reading, as Artimus said.

Well there's the usual board rules.. and then there's guessing which words, hosts and etcetera are banned. I have no idea what sites are banned besides RS and the like. We can only guess what the WTF?WTF?WTF? actually points to. Censoring words: Done. Educating us what site not to use: Not done.

Even established members don't read the rules.. Hell, even the Mods probably don't!!

1 - Mods don't make the rules, we only enforce them.
2 - We have to read them to know what we are enforcing.

...and to the point of a list of what sites not to use

3 - All the banned sites have one thing in common. They are hosts for uploaded videos and copyrighted content. If you don't post links to copyrighted content or uploaded content, which is against the rules, then you will never post a link to a banned site. In other words, if you are posting a link to a banned site, it is because you are posting something that violates a major board rule. It's that simple. You do not need a list. You just need to post according to what is allowed by the rules. And that basic rule is, as simply as I can state it, "we allow only sample video clips and sample galleries, so do not post links to sites hosting uploaded videos and full sets of pictures". Of course, more detailed explanations can be found in the Board Rules and the STICKIES. So if you follow that rule, you will never see wtf?wtf?wtf. JMO!

However there is one site that suddenly went 'wtf' for no apparent reason a few months ago. It's pages have links to 4 20-30 second clips just like most sites, and it seems to be the official clip host to Tera Patrick's own site, Silvia Saint's, Peter North, etc. It's so benign that I've seen 3 or 4 mods continue to summit links, (although some posts disappear when they realize it;-) Last night I was checking new links on Freeones, and found 6 of the 9 new Tera Patrick links were to this very banned site! Please, what's going on???!

Response sent. Reason for the site being banned confirmed.

The only videos that are allowed to be posted are sample vids. The total content time should be no more than a couple of minutes.

Sample videos, not uploaded scenes, not full movies, not paysite videos.

You ARE allowed to post video samples like this, where there is a proper host and the vids are samples: http://www.porno-vids.com/galleries/ztod/olivia_del_rio_hardcore_cumpainted/index9.html

List of the banned sites & *** vs. WTF?

Is there a list of the banned sites posted anywhere? Or is it just trial and error?

I think it would be useful because I've just posted a link hosted at sxx DOT com and don't really understand why it's banned. The videos are official, there's nothing illegal about them. It's specially frustrating for official contents, Rocco Siffredi in this case.

For info it seems stars (***) are now used instead of WTF?.

I think that was the same site the above member had a problem with also. I thought we solved the problem. Send me the link in a PM.
