Study sheds light on spider sex

I don't need her to reflect any light for me to get turned on.

Interesting.

I guess it's a good thing humans can't see the light or else we would be having sex with spiders instead of each other!

I also guess it must have been spiders who originally came up with the act of "flashing."

That's interesting...even I think so, and I don't like anything spider related.

Human women must be jealous. At least spiders have no problem trying to strike up a conversation with their prospective mates first. :1orglaugh

Bad Girl MiniD !!

Watching the attached video, I failed to see any such beam of light lol ! I thought that maybe some laser effects would have been added for special effects but no Ci-Gar :o lol !

I have a type of jumping spider in my yard, very similar to the ones offered in the video. They're very keen with their superb eyesight, also, very playful ! :angels: I used to sort of tease them using a stick i.e. -
Move a stick in their direction and you can see them get into a defensive stance from quite an impressive distance away.

The courtship of the Bower Bird is another favourite of mine. FWIW -
