Stopping recurring dreams

Is there a way to stop recurring dreams, or do you have to wait it out? Recently I've been having an erotic ***** about a friend of mine. We've been friends for a long time - actually his older ****** was my best friend in high school. When I was in college, I started talking to him online and one thing led to another.....which ended with my best friend and I not really talking anymore.

I consider him my male counterpart, mentally speaking. The reason our friendship turned sexual (for a tiny while) was because of the intellectual connection. We'd just drive around talking, listening to music, getting high and whatnot and end up all over each other by the end of the night. There's always been an element of sexual tension to the friendship, no matter what.

Now that I've found the person I want to be with forever, there's a problem. He's coming back from college in a few weeks, and while I definitely don't want to cheat on/deceive my partner, I find myself unable to walk away from one of my best friends. Ever since I found out he'll be home for a week or two, I've been having these dreams. It's pleasurable, yet really annoying at the same time. So how do I get the dreams to stop? I've tried thinking of other things right before falling ******, but that doesn't work.

:dunno:
