Special Treatment!

I am sure the majority of you have read the recent thread regarding Lisa Sparxx and her new website layout.

Although it degraded into an off topic event I am wondering why this thread has been completely removed from the Freeones board? I will not go over the details again but those who read will be aware of the events.

I am just after an explanation as to why this thread has been removed? There have been several members who have flamed in threads and many who have been banned - these threads are still readily available to read. I will let you cast your own conclusions but I for one have my own.

If people would've just stuck to her request of our opinion of the two sites, nothing would have come of it. It seems every thread deviates from the original post and sometimes things are written that maybe should not have been. One comment was that she is always posting about her site; umm, check the other stars who post here and see if they don't.
Personal feelings about certain subjects, when posted, will be open for target practice, so we must be aware of what is written and the repercussions from it.
So what if that thread was deleted, the way it degenerated it was not worth having on the board - as some other threads should be gone as well IMO.

Quite simply yes! There have been many threads in the past that have gone off topic or have included bad opinions yet they still remain?

With all respect Marie, all Ric0, me and a lot of other members wants to know is why simply erased this thread ? Why not just close it down like the other threads that got out of hands ? I think we all deserve to know why, as if to know who's to blame for what, i'm willing to take my part of it, since i was directly implicated.

I think the answer is obvious and needs no explanation. Nevertheless...

A porn actress enjoys the board for both conversation and (pardon the pun) exposure here. Lots of members, while not necessarily posters, visit this forum every day. It's great advertising for models and actresses.

What we had here was someone asking opinions about her new website layout, then things ran amuck and said person ended up insulting and offending a number of people here. Would you, if you were trying to get people to JOIN your paysite, want that sort of thing floating around out there? NO. Apparently, apologies were issued all around and people are o.k. with the situation now...

It seems to me that this is classic poster's remorse, a.k.a. "foot in mouth." Her thread was deleted, no doubt, per her request. I don't blame her for asking, having read what was posted, but I also think all posters should have the same courtesy extended to them if they should ask ("Mod So-and-So, I was really in a shitty mood last night and posted a bunch of really bad stuff in my thread XYZ. Can you remove that thread for me? I'd appreciate your help, etc."). We each have an hour to edit and change the entire content of our posts, so this isn't a case of "Damn, I really shouldn't have said that 3 minutes ago. I'd better change it." Surely, after an hour of edit option time, if a person doesn't remove potentially offensive language in a post, they intend for it to "stick" and the post should stay, IMHO (goes along with the rep point system).

Why should THIS thread be closed? There is no flaming here. We're discussing board rules and board practices. I don't understand why the thread would be closed. Ric0chet isn't calling anyone out. He's asking for clarification and spurring discussion. At least he isn't asking if we're turned on by rape (a wonderfully appalling new topic posted today) or about the smell of sperm (classic nonsense thread). LOL

Having read threads where thfcmad has banned ppl....no one in these threads has had the chance to say sorry for whatever reasons they got banned for.

I`ll give another example...i know its a silly one but here goes anyway........

Lets look at a spammer ok.....one post of spam....banned right away.

I read somewheres ( I think in the LisaSparxxx thread)...." She will be warned as its her first offence"

A spammer with one post dont get 2 chances.

I guess its not ok to post one piece of spam but its ok to call someone a P**ck.

Hi, I am here to set the record straight. What I did was wrong. I felt like I was attacked by a member, that is actually a cool guy. I was having a bad day and reacted to a few members of this board in a improper immature way. I called a member a prick and used the finger face on the right. I have sent private massages to these people for my actions asking for an apology. The members I attacked have all responded and have accepted my apology. I even offered a free membership to my site as a gift I screwed up. I know its not much but I thought the offer was nice, even after me acting like a 15 year old.

Yes I asked to the thread to be removed. I did not feel that is was good for me or the board. I am human and I messed up that day.

I hope this answers some questions. Also yes I was warned not to attack others and I respected that. Like I said what I did was wrong and I asked for forgiveness.

Do you remember the 2 months of the same two assholes that signed up 10 times a day to spam there sites? We take a firm stance on spammers. I would be willing to bet that most of the members here like not seeing spam threads all the time.

About the banning the spammers. Alot of them are just banned for a few days. (and are told so by email, they are free to come back and not spam) Sometimes we send them emails about it as well. (I know I have many, many times)

I know it was a silly post...i said that but ive saw a few times in the past....a spammer maybe post one tiny link that leads to spam and he is out the door...no 2nd chance.

I remember the 2 twats who spammed like hell ( i hated them too )and ,YES...they deserved to go but i wouldnt ban them after one post.
