Song lyrics you heard differently than how they were written.

Takin' Care Of Business

Bakin' carrot biscuits every day! Bakin' carrot biscuits every way!

Last Child..

I was a last child...just a bucket of three!

Probably many songs written in foreign languages and those lyrics which include spelling similar to words with different meaning in native language...

Hit up youtube, and search for "misheard lyrics guy", then laugh

My personal favorite....

For a long time, I thought "Eminence Front", by The Who, was living in a funk.

In the 2nd to the last verse of Huey Lewis & the News' song Bad is Bad ... I see now that apparently it says, "I love you, Huey was the note I read." Well, I swear, every time I hear that song, that line still sounds like it says something along the lines of, "I love you, Huey was a low down wimp."

The Doobie Brothers, "Listen to the Music"...

Actual lyrics:

Like a lazy flowing river
Surrounding castles in the sky
And the crowd is growing bigger
List'nin' for the happy sounds
And I got to let em fly

It's always sounded like the City of Houston to me

Then we have Bachman Turner Overdrive, "Taking Care of Business" sung by Randy Bachman.

These lyrics, at 2:44- 2:49 of the song...

... Take good care of my business
When I'm away, every day whoo! ...

To me, he sounds like Jay Ferguson of Spirit. -- Yes! :)

My parents were big into backmasking; therefore, I always misheard lyrics as a kid. I remember listening to "Strange Magic" in reverse and hearing "Dip bread in egg and milk mixture and fry in buttered skillet until golden brown on each side"
