Wow, I'd be much more intrigued with this scandal if I knew WTF John Higgins was.

I'm watching some specialist videos

World Snooker champion - Snooker is like a more genteel version of pool, on a much larger table, requiring more skill.

I hope he gets locked up.

Bribery in Snooker? Is this an entry level exam for the mafia these days? Rig a sporting event no one gives a toss about, what next scandal in the womans curling!

Postal Paranoiac
I once Snookered my way through the Michigan State girl's field hockey team!!:love-smi:

Stop judging the guy, none of us is paying his bills. He did what he did for a reason, no I'm not saying he's right, but come on, wishing for him to get locked up? That's just another way of saying you never gave a damn about the guy ever.
He agreed to lose in exchange for money, and he got found out, believe me when I say that he probably feels worse than us, the readers.

PS: Snooker's such an awesome game...I miss it!

Is somewhere outhere.

Most of the snooker halls i've been in the Central Belt, are a
haven for gangmembers ;)

Just saw the news about it,and with the way he missed that shot
against Davis last week,it would make you think he threw that game.

So maybe :o

Am I the only one who doesn't care? Maybe it's because I've been watching wrestling for so long, but it doesn't bother me if the outcome of a sports event is pre-determined. Believers in fate could argue that they all are anyway. As long as I don't know the result beforehand, I can enjoy the entertainment. :dunno: :wave2:

You are not a sports fan.

The clue is in your statement: it's sport, not war. I'd much rather be a casual viewer than someone who thinks it's actually important. :wave2:
Eh? But the point of sport is that its a competition, either between individuals or teams. If you know its fixed where is the enjoyment? Even casual viewers know that. Then again, you like wrestling. . .
I guess you don't mind reading a book already knowing what the end is?!?

:1orglaugh

War is entertainment. Sports is important. I lost 100 Euros because Ding Junhui crashed out early :hammer:

I'm shocked Higgins would do it, he seems one of the players who is straight up...

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
That is nothing compared to what the Canasta champion of the world did!

Even if it's fixed, I don't know the outcome until I see the end. I'm not one of these people who looks up spoilers and breaking news on the web, so to me it's no different to watching a movie.

True, that's why I often read the same books many times over.

War is entertainment. Sports is important.

It often surprises me how peope can joke so easily about serious stuff. Provided you are joking, of course. :dunno: :wave2:
