I'm a bit confused- I'm new to this Snapchat thing, but do they allow hardcore snaps from couples, or do they have a monitoring mechanism where they would censor that out before it reached its recipient? I think that would be the main appeal for a lot of people. Some articles on the internet say that it is 100% censored- but why do adult entertainers in essence advertise and give their Snapchat handle? That would led me to believe that it is uncensored.

Snapchat doesn't allow you to post hardcore, nudity, adult content to your public story. Anything that is of that nature is to be sent privately to individuals.
People aren't supposed to use it for this kind of stuff necessarily, and sex workers aren't supposed to sell them or give out their handles, but they certainly do of course
I had one for a minute until I pooped out on my phone, and just haven't gotten around to putting it on my new one.
So yeah anyway, leave nudity and the like for private snaps, don't post it on your public story.
