This has been an ongoing argument in my household for some time now. I decided to come here to settle it once and for all.
With this poll, I actually have money on the line in the form of a $20 💵 bet with the wife! ;)

First album after the late, great Duane was taken from us , WAY to soon.

To this day I will argue with anyone, that they will never find two guitar players, that were more intune with each other, and able to play harmony leads, like Duane, and Dicky.

You will get no argument from me.

I eat an Apple pretty much every day. Can't remember when I last had a peach; probably in some type of fruit salad - peeled.

Yes, the following year Berry Oakley too. Same thing motorcycle accident in Macon. Around the corner from where Duane died. Three blocks away or so.

Playing Devil's Advocate here. -- Peter Green and Danny Kirwan. Actually alternating leads. :)

With me it's Peaches. But let's not forget those Apples too.

I thought I heard somewhere it was the same bike too, but it could have been an urban myth thing. You know Kirk Hammet owns that famously mis-wired 1956 Les Paul, I think he paid around a million for it.

Neil Schon decided his warehouse was getting a little crowded, so he's auctioning of about 250 of them....including two mint condition "holy grail" 1959 Les Paul's I wonder what they'll go for, and which musicians buy them. I can think of more then one that already has one, and the way they talk about them, they want another.

Here's a nice story about Peter Green and 'Greeny"

Not to take this off topic. I saw pictures of John Entwistle and his bass guitars. Here's two.

A. John Entwistle pictured with about 65 of his bass guitars (he had over 400 guitars altogether)

(the picture above was also "colorized" and has been copyrighted. I did not want to post that one. Do a Google search on the "colorized" picture)

B. Here he is with eleven of them (more detailed)

Imagine keeping them in tune. What an adventure! :)

That top pic, he's holding an 8 string Alembic...probably about a 10k chunk of the most incredible woodworking craftsmanship, and beauty. He had several of those, and after he died they (all his basses) were auctioned off. Of course I guess that would be the typical case with most musicians estates. I remember reading about an Gibson SG w/ Alnico P90 pick ups, that he played during the entirety of the Tommy tour, including Woodstock. It went for 75k.

I loved that article, thanks for posting it.

I tried to count all of them, I got to 59 before my eyes started screwing with me.

Time to go off the rails again, I saw this article today, and immediately thought of John, Now THIS axe is truly a holy grail, I know a couple of years ago a David Gilmour Strat...his famous black Strat he is usually seen with, auctioned off for a record $3,975,000.00. I have to wonder if this will meet it, beat it, or crush it like a little bug. I have a friendly over/under 5 million bet with a friend....he took over. Any thoughts from my fellow enthusiasts?
