It does get a little dull at times because of all the TV timeouts they take but this is America and everything is about money so I just deal with it. No stoppage of play is why I loooove soccer its also nice because I can watch the game and know that it will be over in exactly two hours.

I have to agree. Partly why I love watching soccer (beside the fact that I was a decent midfielder) is that you can sit down with a cold one and not have to deal with all the BS. :hatsoff:

I think part of the reason is there is a lot of parity this year and there are no great teams that stick out ahead of everybody else.

Yep. Everybody can be beaten by everybody. There seems to be a dearth of great superstars too. I'm getting sick of the current crop.

It seems about the top 10 to top 15 teams are roughly around the same quality this year, and that almost anybody in the top 25 can beat almost anybody else a reasonable amount of time, and not just in a "any given Sunday" type of way.

Being a Browns fan living in Arizona we didn't get to watch the game...but did catch the bonus coverage....game didn't turn out the way I wanted to but what I did see was definitely exciting...AND the Browns are showing signs of not sucking so bad!!

Of course I am a bit bitter afterwatching the Queens lose to the Bears,tits, but I still think the sport has increasingly become intolerable. Maybe it's the commercials, maybe not. :dunno:

it's getting to the point where I only watch football on Sunday and Monday nights. The studio shows are a joke, the games are so full of commercials and there is so much parity. If I wanted equality all around, I would have moved to Moscow (not the one in Idaho)

It's ironic one of the biggest political debates is over how much "socialism" is good for the country while the country's number one sport is the epitome of socialism. Make sure you wear the correct socks and have them exposed the right amount.
