Should Women be Paid as Much as men?

If a woman does the same job with the same efficiency she deserves the same pay but if she isn't as good as a man (yes, feminists, it can happen) then she deserves a lower pay.
I'm sick of women using that unuqual rights as an excuse to why they got a crappier job than if they were a man or to getting a lower pay than if they were a man; it's true, IT IS unfair to women out there but if you put in a little extra effort you'd earn your money.

I think women should get as much as a man can if they can do the job well enough. As far as their pay in general I think it is important to keep in mind that not only is a woman usually smaller, slower, and weaker but usually they don't want to go through the same things men are willing to go through and that is part of the reason they are paid lower in general along with sexism.
There is one important thing that must also be considered that a lot of people don't think about when this issue comes up. Woman can get pregnant. While in this day in age it is possible for either parent to say home and take care of the baby, only women go though the physical hardship of being pregnant. If I was hiring one does that mean I would have to change things if it happens? Would that mean she would no longer be able to do the job as well? Would I have to get somebody to do the job for her? It is a little unfair for them to have it both ways on this issue.

In my life I have noticed that woman work just as hard as men and in certain situations out preform men.
I believe woman have better communication skills, work better under stress, both physical and mental, and most importantly woman tend to "care" more than men. Like D-rock said, woman can become mothers. I would hire a mother because a caring mother is the hardest job of all, and if a woman can raise her babies, she's good enough to work for me and earn as much as anybody else.

1) Women account for 90% of the use of short term and long term disability insurance, which is an incredibly expensive form of insurance for employers. The majority of the claims are of a mental nature, such as depression and exhaustion.
2) women have a far higher rate of absentism than men, including the use of more sick days then they are typically allocated.
If it actually costs a company significantly more to employee a women than a man for a given position, is it so unreasonable that they get paid somewhat less? (Of course these are just general statements and many women do not take many sick days, or ever use the disability benefits. However when we speak about the generallity of men making more than women, we should also accept the generallity that women are more expensive to employ)

if women are paid less then why would anyone hire a man. if women make less then the business owners make more money for hiring women. hiring men would mean less money in their pockets.
women should be paid the same for equal work but men deserve more money than women because US society puts more financial responsibility on men. the only exception is single moms.

Anyone who voted yes is grossly wrong. Women match us intellectually but not physically. ON AVERAGE. There is much work out there, for example, in the building I work in outside, men toil on building a skyscraper outside my window. I see no women. The effort to hire women and minorities is expansive, desperate. It's the latest craze since the 80's in this country. Women on average are not as physically abled as men. They live longer, take less burden. And should therefore be paid less. If women should make as much as men ON AVERAGE, then they would have every almost every sit down job, and men would be outside doing the physical labor, why? because they are unable to do it. Cmon guys. Men are simply more capable then women. On average. Period.
